At Mentaa, we work with a dual demographic of professionals, and we assess coaching quality holistically rather than relying on a single qualification alone.
1. Certified Coaches
For professionally trained coaches, we require:
- A recognized coaching certification (or being in the final stages of one) from a reputable training body
- Demonstrated coaching experience (paid or pro-bono)
- A strong ethical stance, including confidentiality and professional boundaries
We particularly value certifications aligned with international best practices, such as:
- ICF (ACC, PCC, MCC)
- EMCC (EIA or equivalent)
- AC (Association for Coaching)
- University-accredited coaching program
- Well-established private coaching schools with robust curricula, supervision, and assessment
2. Industry-Experienced Professionals
We also welcome senior leaders, specialists, and practitioners with substantial industry experience who coach from real-world expertise. For these professionals, we look for:
Deep subject-matter or leadership experience in their field
- Proven ability to support, mentor, and develop others
- Coaching or facilitation training (formal or informal), or a clear commitment to developing these skills
- Strong alignment with ethical practice and Mentaa’s values
Across both profiles, we prioritize:
- Coaching presence and maturity
- Ongoing professional development and reflective practice
- Alignment with Mentaa’s mission to preserve human connection while delivering meaningful impact
Because Mentaa is a global platform, we intentionally remain flexible while maintaining high standards. Our goal is to ensure clients receive safe, professional, and impactful support, whether from a certified coach or an experienced industry professional.
